Caroline lives in Solihull and started to learn the violin at the age of 5. She reached the string semi-finals of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition and came first in her class at the Marlow Concerto competition in April 2007. Caroline is Head Girl at Chetham's School and is currently studying Music, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at A-level. She led the Chetham's Symphony Orchestra on the October 2007 music course. In January 2008 Caroline won first prize at the Chandos Symphony Orchestra Young Musician Competition in Malvern (sponsored by West Midlands Making Music).
