MUSIC IN THE REGION - REGIONAL ARM

Saturday, April 26, saw the fifth musical Annual Regional Meeting of the West Midlands, underpinned by music from three regional groups and Caroline Pether (violin), the winner of the Chandos Young Musician competition 2008. As well as a highly informative talk and singing session from the Accord Barbershop Quartet, the audience was treated to handbell ringing from Gnosall Handbell Ringers, a rousing performance from the Midland Fretted Orchestra, and finally superb violin playing by Caroline Pether.
